Whether you’ve recently signed up to be a LifeGroup Leader or you’ve been leading for years, you may wonder: What exactly do we talk about? How do we grow better together? How do I lead conversations about God when I’m not a Bible scholar?
You don’t have to be a Bible scholar or a pastor to lead a great LifeGroup.
All great questions! But first, let’s start off with this truth: You don’t have to be a Bible scholar or a pastor to lead a great LifeGroup. When you follow Jesus, the same spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11)! So you’ve got everything you need to lead a thriving LifeGroup. Want more good news? There’s a lot of incredible resources for you and your LifeGroup to go through together, so you don’t even have to put a study together.
Not to mention that there will be nights where you opt to not go through any sort of content at all. And that’s okay! You don’t always have to have a Bible study. Sometimes, you can hang out, laugh, and live life together. Jesus says that where two or more gather, He is there with us (Matthew 18:20). So gathering together is already an incredible start toward experiencing God.
But what do you do when you’re ready to dig deep into Scripture, talk about the hard things, and find truth together? We’ve got you. There’s all sorts of amazing, free LifeGroups studies we’ve created just for you and your group. Here are some resources you can go through as a LifeGroup:
