Your LifeGroup
People tend to pick their best friends out of the group who sticks around when things are hard. The times When God Doesn’t Make Sense tend to be when we need some good friends. This series is likely to bring up some unfinished feelings from people in your group as they discuss moments in their lives when God seemed inattentive, uncooperative, or late. Lead by example with your group by listening carefully and showing kind support as people share some of their most guarded stories. Be ready to spend plenty of time letting people talk it out. Be okay with just saying, “I’m sorry that happened. I can’t imagine how that must have felt.” God may not need you to make Him make sense, but He definitely needs you to befriend the people He doesn’t make sense to.
