Talking about temptation and addiction isn’t easy for anyone. We’ll write a brand new, mobile-friendly discussion guide called Talk It Over based on each week’s message at life.church/talkitover. Each week, you can pick and choose the perfect conversation starters and questions for your group.
A Way Out Bible Plan
Do you feel stuck in an old habit? Maybe you’re hiding shame in a dark corner of your life. God didn’t send Jesus to manage sin and death, He sent Him to destroy it. This two-week Bible Plan will show you A Way Out. Go through it during the week and discuss your realizations when your group is together.
Your LifeGroup
In Galatians 6:1, we are called to restore people who are caught in sin. James 5:16 points out that confessing to each other is how to find healing. Your LifeGroup is a safe place where people can share their shortcomings and find healing. Your honesty will lead your group to open up and get freedom. God is all about setting people free, and He loves to do it through groups of people who care about each other. Pay attention during conversation for the Holy Spirit to nudge you to lead your group in a specific direction. Pick a week to pray daily for each person or couple in your LifeGroup. When you do, expect God to do immeasurably more than you could ever ask or imagine!
Be Social
You have friends and followers online who need to #findawayout. Share personal posts during this series about how you found a way out. Be sure to tag your posts with #findawayout. If parts of Craig’s talk inspire you, they’ll probably inspire your friends too, so post away! But don’t just invite people; bring them with you! And as always, make social media an extension of your time together for prayer requests, accountability, and for sharing your experience of living out each week’s message.
